About Us
Our Mission
We at the Arizona Snipers Sports Academy are more than just a competitive basketball league. We are a community centered organization focused on helping young athletes (aged 8-17) grow both on and off the court.
Our Mission:
- Develop well-rounded players: We believe in fostering a love for the game while also prioritizing academic achievement and mental health.
- Provide a supportive environment: Our coaches are dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential, building confidence, and fostering a strong work ethic.
- Exposure and Opportunity: We offer athletes the opportunity to participate in a variety of tournaments, both local and travel, to give players a chance to compete and showcase their skills.
- Path to the future: We understand that some of our players aspire to play at the college level. Our coaches have prior experience working with D1 prospects and even NBA and pro league players. They can provide valuable guidance and mentorship on the recruiting process.

Marvelle Brown
Coach Brown is a dedicated coach with over 25 years of experience working with athletes of all skill levels. From grade school to the professional ranks, he has helped countless players develop their talents and achieve their goals. In Maricopa, Marvelle is passionate about giving back to the community and building future leaders through his basketball program. Jayme Martin
Coach Martin is a passionate educator and coach with a lifelong love of sports. She began coaching in elementary school and continued throughout her teaching career, guiding athletes in a variety of sports, particularly basketball. Many of Jayme’s players have gone on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels. Jayme believes in the power of education and is committed to developing well-rounded athletes who succeed both on and off the court.
